Luxury Lakes Hotel
The Ro Hotel – formerly The Hydro – in Bowness-on-Windermere has opened following a £7m transformation. MGA reconfigured the internal space and main entrance, improving the layout and providing updated accommodation while retaining the character of the property.
The hotel’s design takes inspiration from the lake and surrounding countryside with cool blues and turquoises complemented by accents of oranges, natural stone and traditional slate.
Inside, clean lines and contemporary design are the order of the day. Reimagined spaces include guest accommodation and a new restaurant – Lacu – and bar serving regional specialties in a relaxed atmosphere.
