Contemporary development in Ullswater

MGA have completed a stunning new build with separate studio developments on the hillside above the shores of Ullswater maximising the spectacular views. The rectilinear design includes a blend of both traditional and contemporary materials, with sheets of open glazing, to emphasise the cuboid shape that follows the contours of the hillside. The studio, located above the main house, perched on the steep topography projects at if on stilts, again with open views and glazed balconies. This innovative design is a clear demonstration of the LDNPA wish to promote progressive designs within the world heritage site.
