A winning habit....

Celebrating our second award in a month....

Mason Gillibrand Architects have been given a commendation from the Georgian Group for there recently completed renovation of the Grade 1 Listed Burrow Hall near Kirkby Lonsdale. In an awards ceremony held at the Royal Institute of British Architects headquarters in London, the project was recognised in the ‘Restoration of a Georgian Country House’ Category, which had nominations from projects all over the UK.

MGA Director Lee Donner was in attendance at the event and the awards were presented by Lloyd Grossman CBE FSA.

Burrow Hall was built in the 1740s on the site of a Roman Fort and it has some of the finest ornate plasterwork in any private house in the North West. It fell into a poor state of repair until the current owners bought it in 2013 and started an extensive programme of alteration and restoration work.

Well done to the MGA team for their fantastic efforts.
