Isthmus in for Planning

MGA have recently submitted a planning application on behalf of Lake District charity ‘Young Cumbria’ for a new outdoor residential and educational centre on the banks of Derwent Water.

The scheme includes a laminated timber-framed and glazed-front building in a boat house vernacular facing onto the lake.

There’s an enclosed courtyard behind with rooms for youth groups and leaders, a fully equipped kitchen, activity space and glazed entrance and green room.
