Lakeland cottage extension

We have just had the pleasure of completing this exciting project, set within the LDNPA.

The original building, although well proportioned, did not provide enough accommodation for our clients. Hence we set about carefully considering how the property could be extended and given a sensitive but exciting face lift.

Following close consultation with the clients we were able to use a contrasting set of materials from locally sourced stone for the main extension including cladding the porch, plus a stylish aluminium powder-coated glazed lean-to. The concept was simple, but effective, complementing the design of the original cottage.
