Historic Country House renovation begins
Our project in Lancashire to renovate a 30,000 sq.ft Country House has begun, with renovation and repair to over 100 windows ensuring that the building will be weather tight and looking its best before the winter weather takes hold.
The project involves the creation of a new double height Atrium space, the creation of 8 new bathrooms, complete re-plumbing, re-wiring and extensive remodelling of the Grade II* Listed property.
MGA have been working closely with the private client, Ribble Valley Borough Council and Historic England to breath new life into the house that has been largely untouched for a century.
Repairs to the roof, lead work, stone detailing, gutters and historic stone mullioned windows using the best local craftsmanship and materials will be a big part of the project but will safeguard the future of the property.
Standby for more information and the project progresses in 2018
