Lancashire Barn conversion nearing completion

MGA is currently working with contractors John Moore & Sons on the conversion of a stone built barn near Rishton, Blackburn.

The design includes a large family room with kitchen, an oak-framed and glazed single-storey extension, three double bedrooms and bathrooms to the first floor and the conversion of the loft space to form guest accommodation with a cinema/music room.

The scheme includes the installation of solar photovoltaic panels and an air source heat pump, reducing the carbon footprint and ongoing running costs of the new dwelling.

It’s set to be impressive home with beautiful views over the surrounding countryside.

We even have a family of fallow deer in a neighbouring field who are overseeing our progress! The project is due for completion during the summer of 2017.
