All aboard!

A Mason Gillibrand team entered the 'Low Wood No Wood' Cardboard boat race recently, hosted by the Low Wood Bay Hotel. In our craft, HMS Lancaster, we won our initial race and recorded a very respectable time of 2mins 43 seconds, putting us 5th out of 20 boats.

It is fair to say that we could have fared better in the grand finale - the demolition derby. HMS Lancaster went down with all hands lost. A great fun day was had by all, and all in aid of The Lake District Calvert Trust.

Well done to the whole MGA team.

We'll be back next year - leaner, meaner and hopefully more watertight.
