We have now started the construction of this large house. As you can see from this model, it is a new build house in open countryside and getting planning permission was quite complicated.


The building work is being very ably managed by Andrew Wooler and Ian Sunderland of RN Wooler from Keighley who have started by digging a very big hole!

MGA have just finished a lovely new house in the Kendal area, which includes this Kitchen / Dining / Sitting Room with beautiful views over the adjacent fields.


The project incorporates a solar PV system, organised through Mason Gillibrand Environmental.

Mason Gillibrand designed and supervised the renovation and extension of the property, including a lovely Kitchen / Dining Sitting Room with full height bay window.

We designed a swimming pool extension to a stunning 17th Century, Grade 2* Listed house and the property is looking fantastic, down to the hard work and perseverance of our long standing client.

We are nearing completion on an exciting Barn project in the Lune Valley. The conversion and restoration work to the 17th Century Listed barn includes new insulating hemp lime plaster to upgrade the thermal performance of the building in a sensitive and sustainable way.

Our project to extend a cottage at the foot of Skiddaw, just north of Keswick has been completed and is looking great. NuStyle Builders of Kendal have done a sterling job. The project involved a two storey extension including a new Master Bedroom suite and large ground floor Sitting Room with front facing glass projection. The front facing view is stunning.

We have just completed a lovely project in Cheshire, incorporating a contemporary laminated timber framed extension on a traditional brick pair of cottages, creating large open plan living spaces. The extension sports a terned stainless steel roof.
